MDF standard
Medium-density fibreboard (MDF)
MDF is made from wood fibre and binders by applying high temperature and pressure. The density of MDF depending on the thickness of the board varies from 650 kg/m3 to 770 kg/m3. These boards are distinguished by very good processing: it is simple to make the elements of any shape, to mill any shape on the surface, etc. Due to these properties MDF are very widely used in the furniture industry

FIBRANOR is a high density board, with good behaviour to wrap, and great stitching and curving facility. Greater uniformity and dimensional stability.
FIBRANOR can be glued, bent, painted, veneered and coated with PVC or decorative roles, with great easiness and simple technologies. Its excellent strength-to-weight relationship makes it an ideal candidate for the most unimaginable uses. It is an inert, non-toxic and non-polluting product.
· Homogeneity. The perfect distribution of the wood fibres throughout the board make its edges suitable for moulding and machining while maintaining a uniform finish.
· Dimensional Stability. The se boards have very good dimensional stability.
· Uniform Surface. Its smooth compact and homogeneus surface allows its overlay with vasnish plywood PVC veneer impregnated paper foil and finish foil prints etc.
· Mechanical Properties. High screw and staple retention strength both in surface and edges.
· 620 DM / FIBRAPAN is available in a wide range of formats and thicknesses which allows for cost reduction and better use in the court of the necessary components for the manufacture of furniture.
Its density and humidity profile have been controlled, its surface finishing have been greatly cared, as well as its machineability qualities. All of this to make IBERPAN the ideal substitute for solid wood in many applications.
The dimensional stability of IBERPAN allows us to forget one of the greatest drawbacks of wood: its dimensional variations. As it is easily machineable and non abrasive, it allows for significant savings in maintenance costs and tool replacements. Its availability in thicknesses up to 60 mm covers the full range of needs in the furniture and assistant industry.
