Raw chipboard class P5 - DURELIS/POPULAIR®
PARTICULARLY RESISTANT TO MOISTURE SMOOTH BOARD FOR THE HEAVIEST DUTIES  Advantages:
- A board, particularly resistant to moisture, can be used in humid conditions.
- Swelling within 24 hours after immersion in H2O, up to 10 %. After carrying out test in the Institute of Architecture and Construction of KTU swelling of 8 samples within 24h was 2,71 % (whereas OSB/3 - 15%).
- Extra strong, stable, screw resistant.
- It has higher density than OSB therefore it is much stronger.
- Minimal swelling and expansion when influenced by construction or air humidity.
- Multifunctional board is easy to use.
- Solid foundation with extra hard, smooth surface.
- The fibre structure is much finer and it is particularly fine at the surface, therefore a board, in contrary to OSB, does not buoy up fibre even if it gets moisture.
- Used for short-term concrete formwork (max. 2 days).
- Used for floors, walls, roof, stairs, etc.
- Low formaldehyde emission. Class E1 in accordance with EN120.
Quality guarantees :
ISO 9001 certified. Being tested daily in Spano laboratories they are also tested in the Technical Centre for the Wood Industry.
They are manufactured to meet the requirements of European standards EN312-5.
P 5 - DURELIS/POPULAIR meets V313 cyclic test: the test specimens are immersed in water for 3 days, later they are frozen for 1 day and after that heated up for 3 days. This cycle is repeated 3 times. Only very few materials bear this test, whereas Spano Durelis/Populair has a certificate for this test. Spano Durelis/Populair can be used in an extremely humid environment.
